The vines are planted on rocky soils of calcareous and clayey nature at a height between 170 metres and 300 metres, on sea level and at a 15 kilometre distance from the Argentario gulf.
The wine is a blend of Sangiovese, Alicante, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot.
The grapes were harvested between 6th September and 12th October. The yield was 670 grammes per vine. Oak fining was 18 months. The acidity is 5.8 grammes per litre. Extract was 33.6. 47,160 750 ml bottles and 350 magnums were produced.
