A direct translation of the word Boekenhoutskloof is Ravine of the Boekenhout. A Boekenhout is an indigenous Cape Beech tree that was greatly prized for furniture making. Boekenhout is pronounced "Book-N-Howed".
This wine was imported by HJO Grosshandel AB. There was almost no information on this wine on their website however.
