The vineyard soils are varied, sediment, limestone, granite, pebbles and alluvia. The average age of the vines was 35 years. The wine is a blend of 49% Syrah, 48% Grenache, and 3% Mourvèdre. The wine was aged for one and a half years in oak foudres. The average yield was 41 hectolitres per hectare. 3,500,000 bottles were produced.
