TN : Susana Balbo Signature Malbec 2011, Dominio del Plata, Mendoza, Argentina
This wine is a blend of 90% Malbec and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The Malbec was sourced from the following vineyards: Alto Agrelo, Ugarteche and Vistalba (Lujan de Cuyo), Altamira and San Pablo (Uco Valley). The Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from the Altamira (Uco Valley) and Alto Agrelo (Lujan de Cuyo) vineyards. All vines were ungrafted. The wine spent 13 months in 80% new French oak barrels and 20% second year French oak barrels. The total acidity is 5.6 grammes per litre and pH is 3.7.
