My wife and I just had a bottle of the 2005 Chateau Cadet last night. I found it to be A-typical of a classic Bordeaux. I thought I was drinking a "California Cab". The "Oaky" taste took control of the wine. I got better as it opened up more, but I just couldn't get past that "oakiness". I'd give the wine a C- or D+. It will pass to the next grade, but needs to go to summer school . . .
