TN : Sokol Blosser Pinot Noir 2007, Dundee Hills, Oregon, USA




The age of the vines was between seven and nine years old. 6111 cases were produced. The grapes were picked between 21st September and 29th September 2007. One-ton and three-ton open top fermenters were used and the cap was punched down 3 times a day. The wine was 100% barrel aged in 16 months in French oak barrels of which 44% were new barrels.

Taste : Strawberries, sandalwood, coffee, spice,fruit masked by the oak influences, warm finish
