Could keep this for another couple of years and maybe the oak will integrate a bit more but this is excellent right now. Oak, mango, pineapple, green apple, pear, sweetcorn. Extremely juicy long finish with a bit of spice.

Pittnauer r&b, natural wine, Burgenland, Austria

Natural wine, yeast, cherry, strawberry, very dry, long aftertaste. Not my cup of tea but one of the better naturals that I have tasted.

This wine is a blend of 25% St. Laurent and 75% Grüner Veltliner. "r&b" is from the french "rouge et blanc" meaning red and white.

Most of the grapes come from the 2020 vintage but some are from earlier vintages which is this wine was bottled as non-vintage.

This is wine is bone dry having only one gramme per litre of residual sugar.
