Lindes de Remelluri Vinedos de Labastida 2015, Remelluri, Rioja, Spain

Overwhelming dusty tannins, cherries and plums, oaky. Fruit is in the background in this one I wouldn't buy this again. Reminds me of a cheap left banker.

Rua Pinot Noir 2019, Akarua, Central Otago, New Zealand

A bit too spicy for me. Cherry and strawberry and some herbs and stalks. Green cabbage on the nose. The fruit makes up for this however. Not as good as some previous vintages.

Château Larousse 2019, Graves, Bordeaux, France

Warned this up and it really shone. Melon, lime, gooseberries, kiwi fruit, earthy on the finish. I gave this a higher than average mark because of the low price.

Black Stallion Estate Winery Cabernet Sauvignon 2017, Napa Valley, California, USA

Blackcurrant, raspberries, cherries, oak, liqourice, a bit of leather on the aftertaste. A couple of years in the cellar will soften the tannic finish.

Los Patricios Chardonnay 2016, Pandolfi Price, Valle del Itata, Chile

Some nice citrus and peach fruit going on but overoaked. Lots of toast and nuttiness if you like that sort of thing.
