This wine is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Aroma : Plums, cedar, tobacco, blackcurrant

Taste : Horrible overwhelming stale tobacco, earthy, herbs, hints of plummy fruit, earthy, tangy finish

Alcohol : 12.5%

    Yours has got to be a flawed bottle. Compair with all other people on the net that has reviewed this wine. It's a shame that your misleading comment is so widespread on the net. I've tried two bottles of this and they were both wonderful, certainly an extremely good value Pomerol.
