TN : Wakefield Jaraman Cabernet Sauvignon 2005, Clare Valley & Coonawarra, Australia

Jaraman is the aboriginal word for seahorse, the icon adopted by the Taylor family after fossilised remains of tiny seahorses were found on the family's Clare Valley Estate. The grapes for this wine come from two parcels of fruits from South Australia; 54% of the fruit came from Clare Valley and 46% from Coonawarra. A winery analysis showed that the alcohol was 14.5% and the pH was 3.48.
