Cuvee Bertrand 2015, Schlosskellerei Gobelsburg, Niederösterreich, Austria
Tastes like a 50-50 blend of Pinot Noir and Blaufränkisch. Tart raspberry, strawberry and cherry. Wood and spice.

Beaujolais Villages Nouveau Nature 2019, Jean Loron, France
Rough texture, tastes unfiltered. Missing the usual bright acidity, tastes flat. Where's the zingy fruit? Cherries, raspberries, blueberries and banana in the background.

Tohuwabohu 2014, Markus Schneider, Pfalz, Germany
A blend of cabernet franc, merlot, and cabernet sauvignon. The colour is browning a bit but don't let this put you off. Raspberry, plums, cherries, liquor like, oak, spice, smooth tannins. Mega wine. Would buy again.
Tohuwabohu describes the greatest disorder possible that requires the helping hand of God. Tohuwabohu is dedicated to Markus Schneider's son Nicolaus who not only turns everything upside down in their house but who also reorganises many things.

The Mentors Grenache Blanc 2011, Western Cape, South Africa
Green apples, honey, lemon, pereol, white pepper, high acid. In a blind tasting I would have said that this was an aged dry riesling.
